Rocket Ropes offers a unique mix of adrenaline pumping aerial challenges :
Open by appointment Monday-Friday and 9:00am – 5:00pm Saturday-Sunday. Bookings can be made by emailing info@rocketropes.co.nz or by ringing the team at adjoining Butterfly Creek – (09) 275 8880.Two separate courses comprising four levels of intense and demanding high ropes activities - each with their own climbing tower and together with New Zealand’s only powerfan long drop, a 12m giant sky swing and two ripper zip lines.
Stage 2 will be offering climbing and abseiling walls, a range of tower based climbing activities (to 14m high) and a toddlers course for the “vertically challenged”.

CROC COURSE - Challenging fun for adults and younger kids alike. Two levels at 3m and 6m and with 23 activities that will thrill you, test you and excite you. Three flying foxes, a barrel crawl, spiders web, slip knots and the flea jump are just a few ....and finish off with a great buzz from the Tarzan Swing.
ROCKET COURSE - You are all alone, 4.5m and 9m up a pole, you are looking right over Butterfly Creek – and you are totally exposed! No surrounding trees for comfort – just you, your fears and a great blend of 29 intense and challenging aerial activities. Includes the ripper zippers.
RIPPER ZIPPER (ROCKET COURSE ONLY)
You’ve just completed two levels of highly intense and physically demanding high ropes challenges – so you’ve earnt this double dose of adrenaline fun. Launching from our 12m platform, you whiz 120m (and in a real hurry) to the elevated stage at Treasure Island Golf.
Then catch the next flight back on the return zip. Mission accomplished!
Powerfan Long Drop Express
Ever considered leaping from a 5 storey building? Here’s your chance. NZ’s first powerfan freefall will test your fears and your faith. Inch your way out onto the leap zone, ( great views- so look out if you cant look down!) take a deep breath - and step out into the blue yonder.
Giant Sky Swing
Exhilarating fun - and even more fun when swinging with a friend! (and cheaper too). Once strapped in, you are then winched, ever so slowly, up to 12m off the ground. When you drop is up to you – but be prepared for the crazy acceleration rush as you soar on the biggest swing this side of .....
